The Rocket to Luna homepage is released!

Two months ago, I've just released a new website titled The Rocket to Luna - December 21, 2012. The Rocket to Luna homepage will be broadcasting a rocket voyage to the moon live scheduled for December 21, 2012. I have started work on this project Fall 2006 and will be dedicating my entire life to it to end world hunger and war. Check it out, let me know if you have any thoughts or questions about it. I have a lot planned for Monster Blog Sack. Only issue now is obtaining funds. If you are a website owner and looking for a great way to promote your website, you may do so at The Five Million Dollar Rumble. A live gameshow is coming up in a future round. In the meantime, I am going to be working on The Rocket to Luna and The Five Million Dollar Rumble (The Rumble 5) to pursue working on these projects with great ideas for the future and the future of the internet.

The Five Million Dollar Rumble (The Rumble 5) is released!

I have just released a new website called The Five Million Dollar Rumble (The Rumble 5) www.rumble5.com. The idea is to earn 5 million dollars by selling rumble spots for $100 each for my start-up Soma Studios which Monster Blog Sack is a part of. To find out more about The Rumble 5, you may check out the blog, faq, and the rest of the webpage.

As for Monster Blog Sack, I haven't had a chance to work on it since I have new releases that I'm working on such as The Music Hutch and Polski Domek. I have many ideas for Monster Blog Sack, thus the website The Rumble 5 to acquire funds for it and build Monster Blog Sack into a kickass solid webpage. The Monster in the logo also has a name. His name is Thoghar the Monster. I have many ideas on making Thoghar come to life on screen. Monster Blog Sack may currently have a few bugs due to recent server upgrades. I will be working to get it fixed.

Hope you enjoy!

The Music Hutch

In the meantime of working on one of my ideas, I thought up of another idea. The Music Hutch. This website I released two days ago. It's a site for people to upload their music, and then be able to share, search & browse, and just listen to music without having to do any downloads.

Another idea I came across that is quite interesting are "vlogs" (Video logs.) These are just like weblogs, but instead you record a video. You can check out this concept at Click.tv

You are listening to some music right now that I am using from The Music Hutch. You may also add music to your blog, website, social network profile, and Music Hutch playlist by copying and pasting code that can be found on the Site.

Many ideas are developing in my mind for Monster Blog Sack, as well as for CampusGrind.com, The Music Hutch and future ideas that I have.

I got rid of the Monster Blog Sack Forum because of spammers. Seems to me that spam is going out of hand. One of my e-mail boxes get more than 200 spams a day and am now thinking of closing it soon. I plan to put a forum up in the future in a way to prevent spammers from posting garbage.

Here are the current Monster Blog Sack stats:

Toolbar Downloads: 2591
Blogs Sacked: 319

Sack This!

Added a cool new feature for bloggers to get more traffic. If you look to the right, you'll see a button on the bottom that reads "SACK THIS!" This allows any person to sack your blog from your blog without the MBS toolbar (Registration still required. This allows one sack per blog per user.) Here's how this works. Every time your blog gets sacked, it gets rated. This allows the MBS Toolbar to see which blogs are great to surf (meaning the more good sacks, the more people will see your blog.) This is based on weekly sacks. A person who already sacked your blog may sack it again in a week.

To sum this all up, the more good sacks, the more people to your blog.

Here's the code to add to your blog:
<a href="http://www.monsterblogsack.com/sack.php?url=(your_blog_url)"><img src="http://www.monsterblogsack.com/images/sackthis.gif" width="80" height="15" border="0" alt="Sack This!"></a>

This is how mine looks like:
<a href="http://www.monsterblogsack.com/sack.php?url=http://www.monsterblogsack.com/blog/"><img src="http://www.monsterblogsack.com/images/sackthis.gif" width="80" height="15" border="0" alt="Sack This!"></a>

Sack Surfer Modes

I was thinking of the movie Back to the Future and I remembered a part where the television set had many stations playing all at one time. This made me come up with the Tile Sack Surfer Mode idea. Now you can choose either Full or Tile mode. The Tile mode lets you surf and view a little description of 9 (3x3) blogs at once. I'm still adding more to this feature. Here is a preview:

Tile Mode Preview

Another problem I noticed was when you close the browser, and reopen it, your login session is gone. I fixed this problem. You should now be able to close and open your browser or restart your computer and Surf the Sack without logging in again. If you have to keep logging in, drop me a line and I'll look into the issue.

Here are the current stats:
Users: 116
Toolbar Downloads: 675
Blogs Sacked: 40

Have a whole list of features I want to add in front of me. Another little plug-in I added is the mouseover screenshot page preview. I got this tool from Arc90 Labs. They have some pretty interesting tools they come out with once in a while that you can add to your blog or site. Check them out.

The Monster Blog is Unleashed!

Just released the Monster Blog Sack Blog. I was going to release the blog August 11, but I then decided to code the blog from scratch. That is why there is an August 11 blog post.

I'm currently working on improving the tagging functionality for tagging blogs. Have a whole list in front of me for improving the Site. MBS is growing quite steadily. Today there are 90 members, 25 blogs sacked, and 558 toolbar downloads. I caught a few errors here and there, but now they are fixed.

The Monster is Unleashed!

I just recently learned how to code FireFox extensions. On my way from work in Manhattan to a friend's house in Brooklyn, I was thinking of new ideas I can do by building a FireFox browser extension. One of my favorite FireFox extensions is the Stumble Upon toolbar by Geoff Smith. This toolbar is one of my inspirations for creating the Monster Blog Sack toolbar.

Blogs are getting to be a pretty big thing on the internet these days. From time to time I like to randomly surf around blogs and skim through what people are writing about. A feature I noticed for Blogger.com blogs was the top navigation a user can use to randomly go to another blog or search the blog. This also inspired me to create the toolbar. The MBS toolbar works just like that but more advanced and yet still simple. You get to choose what topics that interest you, tag and search for blogs, share blogs, and add blogs to your favorites' list.

So far there are 34 members, 19 blogs sacked, 247 toolbar downloads, with 3 diggs! at Digg.com. If you like MBS, you can Digg It! I am currently working on more features as well as improving the current features. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions, you may contact me at general@monsterblogsack.com or post in the MBS Forum.

You may be wondering what the CampusGrind.com link is doing in the footer and what it has to do with Monster Blog Sack. It's a website designed and developed by Wojciech Pirog and me where college students can ship or meetup on campus and exchange goods for cash. There's also a community with over 3,200 campuses in the United States. If you're a college student or faculty, check it out.

From time to time I'll be updating the blog to keep you posted of what's new. Hope you enjoy Monster Blog Sack and the toolbar.
